FEG – My Dance (DMD) is an afro-carribean rhythm written and produced by FEGS. DMD is infused with instruments such as: trumpets and steel pans, which have been inspired by the Carribean culture. In addition to this, Do My Dance has a very rhythmic African drum beat that will make anybody want to dance.
When FEGS was around the age of 5, he woke up from a dream, in which God gave him a song “You saved my life from Satan” Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. He later revisited those lyrics and infused it with the jam-packed rhythm “Do My Dance”. Do My Dance, is simply a song that expresses FEGS’ gratitude to God, and that nobody can stop him from dancing, and giving thanks to God for all He has brought him through. This notion is clearly highlighted with lyrics such as “Never seen this kind God before”.
‘Do My Dance’ will be available on itunes, Apple music, Spotify, Amazon music, Youtube, Deezer and Hungama Music on 31/07/20.
Peter Ofoegbu, also known as FEGS, is a Gospel artist, from South London. With one of his close friends dying at the age of 16, and his uncle getting shot, FEGS realised that there was more to life and gave his life to Christ. The death of his friend inspired his first single “No Knife” and upon receiving positive feedback and reactions to the song, he knew that he had found his purpose, which is spreading the Gospel through music.
In the beginning of his music journey, he founded the company Music Birthed Out Of The Spirit, where the vision is to continue to spread the gospel infused with Faith, Hope and Love through various ventures.
Music has played a huge part in FEGS’ life, from playing drums at church and receiving songs in dreams when he was younger, to messing around with siblings showcasing rap skills. A crucial moment in his music career was when his pastor had said “If God is blessing you with songs write it down”. He took note of this statement and began to write.
