Germany-based Nigerian Gospel singer/songwriter De – Nice Onu Peter popular as Onu Peter offers a brand new single to wrap up the year titled, “Uchu Gbede Ojo (I Am Grateful).”
Speaking on the song, Onu says “What better way to round off the year than to burst out in praise to the Supreme One who kept us and sustained us through the years, knowing full well we are secured in His care through the coming year.”
“God has been there every step of the way, if you are grateful for January to December, join me [lift up a praise]” – Onu Peter concludes.
The single, fused with an Afrobeat-Amapiano vibe and synonymous with energetic AfroGospel and Contemporary Praise songs, joins a list of other releases including “Do Well,” and “Yahweh,” among others, all credited to him.
Onu Peter is an ordained minister and a graduate of Fashion Design and Clothing Technology. He has ministered at events such as the annual “Gospel In The City” and “Gospel Arise Tour” which had himself, Elvis E. and Dee Jones travelling around Paris, Amsterdam, London and Germany with other artistes.
Abuja-based music producers Fedo and Adega produce this new song. It is titled in the Igala native language [a language spoken in Nigeria] which translates to mean “I Am Grateful” in English.
